As we grow, our goal is to partner with New England-based coffee roasters who share those same values.

We're rooted in the Champlain Valley — a region of working farms, quiet roads, and a pace of life that still makes room for a proper morning. Vermont has a way of reminding you what matters. That's the spirit behind everything we do.

Who We Are
Covered Bridge Mercantile grew out of a simple idea: coffee is a quiet way people come together. For us, that began early — around kitchen tables and long conversations, where coffee and tea were always close at hand. Differences were always there, but coffee offered a kind of neutral ground — a shared ritual that could bring people into the same space.
That connection deepened over time, from the South to the Intermountain West, where independent coffee shops became places of routine, craft, and community. It was there we came to understand the character of a good cup — and the role it can play in daily life.
In Vermont, that vision found its home.
