Colombia Coffee Farm
A small group of farmers formed Cafe del Macizo in 2003 in the countryside municipality of Planadas, in the state of Tolima. With 59 lifetime growers, the group shares decades of knowledge and resources with each other to produce high-quality coffee. Located in the foothills of the Cordillera Central, the beautiful mountains shape the lush landscape that defines this exceptional growing region.
Our Colombia coffee is sourced from Cafe del Macizo in Tolima, grown at 1,500–2,100 meters. The Caturra, Castillo, and Typica varieties are washed and sun-dried, and graded Excelso EP — one of Colombia's highest export classifications. The result is a medium roast with rounded body, medium acidity, and notes of dark chocolate, mango, and peach.
