Ethiopia Natural Coffee Farm

It is thought that the coffee plant was discovered in Ethiopia, where coffee is more than an income-producing crop and is part of a long-lasting culture. Coffee is Ethiopia's main export commodity, contributing to the livelihoods of more than 15 million farmers and sector workers.

This coffee is grown in the Sidama Zone on family farms and is processed in a local cooperative. The traditional natural processing method — where coffee cherries are dried whole on raised beds, sorted by hand — provides a truly remarkable cup that reflects Ethiopia's deep-rooted coffee heritage.

Our Ethiopia Natural is sourced from smallholder farmers in the Sidama Zone, grown at 1,700–1,900 meters on Nitisol soils. Indigenous heirloom cultivars are fully naturally processed and dried on raised beds, yielding a med-light roast with notes of milk chocolate, fruit, and caramel.
