Peru Coffee Farm
Located in northern Peru in the Amazonian Andes, the Cooperativa Agricola de Servicios Norandino is a farmer-owned cooperative with deep roots in the Piura and Amazonas regions. Like many Peruvian cooperatives, Norandino began with a small group of committed producers and has grown into a thriving community-driven organization whose mission is to increase production and profitability in specialty coffee — and with it, each member family's income.
Women play an active role in the cooperative, represented on the Board of Directors alongside their male counterparts. The cooperative's coffee is Organic and Fair Trade Certified, reflecting a commitment to sustainable farming practices and equitable trade relationships that benefit producers directly.
Our Peru coffee is sourced from the Piura and Amazonas regions, grown at 1,100–1,700 meters on clay mineral soils. The Caturra, Bourbon, Catuai, Pache, and Catimor varieties are fully washed and sun-dried, producing a medium roast with notes of salted caramel, silky sweetness, and citrus. Our Peru Decaf comes from the same cooperative and origin, with the caffeine gently removed using the Swiss Water Process.
