El Palto began in 2003 with just 35 farmers. Today, the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto — known simply as JUMARP — counts 189 members farming approximately 550 hectares of organic coffee in the Amazonian Andes of northern Peru. Forty of those members are women, represented on the cooperative’s Board of Directors alongside their male counterparts. The mission hasn’t changed since the beginning: increase production, improve quality, and with it, each member family’s income.

Grown at 1,600–1,800 meters in the Amazonas region, the Typica, Castillo, Bourbon, and Catimor varieties are fully washed and certified Grade 1, SHG, EP. The caffeine is then gently removed using the Swiss Water® Process — a chemical-free method that uses water and activated carbon filters to strip caffeine while preserving the coffee’s full flavor profile. The result is a medium roast with medium acidity, a smooth body, and notes of lemon, herbal, and chocolate that taste exactly like what they are: the same great Peru, minus the caffeine.

All the origin. None of the caffeine.
